The Livingstone Focus Group was formed on 28 July 2014 during the CSO sensitization workshop held at Wasawange Lodge. At its inception members were from NZP+, Treatment Advocacy Literacy Campaign (TALC), Livingstone District Medical Office (LDMO), Kwenuha, WCI, Jesuit Centre for Theological Reflection (JCTR) PYD and St Francis. These were joined by the media Falls Fm, Zambezi FM and Post Newspaper.

The Focus Group has been involved in MeTA Zambia activities that have included a radio programme on Radio Mosi-oa-Tunya on 28 July 2014, the training in coalition building and data collection on 27 and 29 August 2014 at Mika Lodge, participation in the MeTA Forum 28 August 2014 at Chrismar Hotel and the Round Table on 18 September 2014 at Courtyard Hotel.

The focus group has held monthly meetings from January 2015 and an information sharing meeting on 6 March 2015 at Mika Lodge in Lusaka.
